Psychiatry faculty to give GWIMS talk on powering will
Dr. Danny Burgess, associate professor of psychiatry and human behavior, will give the Group on Women in Medicine and Science's "Connect - Share - Advance" presentation, "Powering Your Will: Changing How You Change," at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 11, in room CW308 of the Classroom Wing.

Tenn anatomy prof to discuss blood flow, retinal health
Dr. Anton Reiner, professor of anatomy and neurobiology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, will give the Neurobiology and Anatomical Sciences Seminar Series presentation, "Neural Control of Choroidal Blood Flow and Retinal Health," from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, in classroom 3A (room N318 on the North Wing).

Schwartz Rounds to offer gratitude stories, holiday hope
Doris Whitaker, pastoral services director, will facilitate the Schwartz Center Rounds discussion, "Hope for the Holidays: UMMC Stories of Hope and Gratitude," from noon-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, in room CW106 of the Classroom Wing.
Nikki Cohran, nurse manager; Vickie Skinner, continuing health professional education director; and Nikki Johnson and Ryan Johnson, UMMC patients, also will speak during the event.

Physiology instructor to target cyclase preeclampsia treatment
